This one day residential introductory
workshop is open to any woman who is pregnant
or contemplating becoming pregnant 'one day'.
Utilising up to
date knowledge on hormones, diet, nutrition,
herbal remedies, natural healing and exercise
our workshop offers expert naturopathic advice
with personalised assessment and recommendations
to support you as your prepare your body through
the three trimesters and beyond. We
will be discussing certain conditions associated
with pregnancy i.e. morning sickness, varicose
veins, stretch marks, insomnia, tiredness, leg
cramps etc and also defining the key area's of
focus for the three trimesters of pregnancy i.e.
navigating a women through the changes etc.
Come away from the weekend with a new network
of women friends and a
Tool Box of tricks that will carry you through
your pregnancy in style.
This
workshop is co-hosted by Kate O'Flynn* (Naturopath)
and Sam Karolyi (Yoga Teacher) and provides
a valuable insight
on ways to prepare your body and
your mind to stay strong, calm, balanced, well
and healthy throughout the whole pregnancy and
beyond.
*Kate is a women’s health and fertility
expert, specialising in reproductive health,
infertility, menopause, miscarriage prevention
and pre-conception care.
Kate is on the Board of the Women's Health and
Research Institute of Australia and also conducts
frequent university lectures on women’s
health and fertility and has authored the student
Female Reproductive Health Manual currently used
by Nature Care College where she has lectured
for many years.
