The Winter Kickstart is a 7 day yoga and nutrition
program specifically designed to cleanse and tone your body from
the inside out. Notice your energy levels improve as you gradually
eliminate what's no longer needed.
You'll learn some simple, positive daily habits in preparation for the change
of season. Get moving, be active, breathe well and say goodbye to the old through
a combination of daily yoga, healthy eating, and a little bit of daily meditation
and breathing exercises, maybe even some sand walking/running, and Salutes to
the Sun at Bondi Beach. Glorious!
The themes for our Winter Kickstart are all
about nourishment, warmth, rest and reflection.
This is the season for consolidation, it is a time of going
inwards and hibernating - where darkness surpasses light, the world
begins to hibernate and quieten down in preparation for the cool
months ahead.
Your Winter Kickstart can help you to align with
the changing seasons. Take a break from striving on your mats and
develop a more intropsective and meditative practice this Winter.
You'll find the poses are calming to the nerves, soothing and grounding.
When the Bladder and Kidney meridians are not in balance, any aspect
of fluidity within our body/mind may go awry as Fluidity and Flow
are the key words for this season. We are going to focus on the
systems that move fluids around our bodies - urinary function,
perspiration, saliva and tears and will work on a 7 day yoga and
nutrition program which is specifically designed to support your
body and mind through the Winter season.

lean, clear, motivated, energised and flexible

that comes your way

DETAILS
Yoga instruction includes a one hour class which is held at Paddington (Monday
to Friday 6.15am-7.15am, Saturday 6.30-7.30am) then a Sunday morning 90 minute
session down at Bondi beach (Sunday 6.30-8.00am). You will receive a healthy
eating and lifestyle plan to follow for the 7 days which will support your
yoga and really drive the Kickstart. And as well as providing you personal
support in each yoga class, we'll also send a short daily email to inspire
you throughout the week. Optional addition of remedial shiatsu massage, acupuncture
and specific dietary and lifestyle consultation to enhance the Kickstart Program
is available.
